Vestry Team
Church of Our Savior’s Vestry Members
The Vestry oversees the church’s financial matters, property, and maintenance, ensuring the parish runs smoothly and continues to serve the community effectively.

Kent Steen
Senior Warden
Kent Steen was commissioned in the Marine Corp after graduating from the University of Florida. He served worldwide and retired as a Colonel. He then worked in Information Technology for Fujitsu. Kent is married to the former Judith Ann Winchester, and they have two grown daughters. The Steens have been with Church of Our Savior since the days when a small group of about 30 met in the historic chapel on Florida Boulevard. Kent and Judy were impressed with the warmth of the small body of believers and the dedication of pastor David Ball, and soon became members. Kent has served Church of Our Savior as senior warden and as a member of the original building committee. Kent and Judy live in Ponte Vedra Beach under the watchful supervision of two Norwich Terriers, Lola and Lincoln.

Veronica Ammer
2024 Vestry Slate
I’m from the greater Pittsburgh area (Go Penguins!). I work as a Sr. Packaging Engineer for an orthopedic company in the area. I’ve been attending Church of Our Savior since January 2023 after moving to the Beaches area for my job. I’m so grateful for the fellowship here at COOS and thrilled to serve as a lector, vocalist, and now Vestry member. I’m excited to see how the Lord continues using our church to serve the community.

Paul Radabaugh
2025 Vestry Slate
I’m Paul Radabaugh. My wife, Jessica, and I moved here with our three children, Cason, Caroline, and Charlotte, three years ago after I completed fellowship training in Houston, Texas. We are natives of South Carolina but have enjoyed so much the marsh and beach living afforded to us here in Jacksonville. Prior to our time in Houston, I spent 12 years in the United States Navy and remain in the Inactive Ready Reserve. We have been a part of the congregation at Church of Our Savior for three years and have been so encouraged by the growth and Christian fellowship seen here. I am excited to see this church grow with Christ’s guidance as we continue to raise our children in this special place. When not at church, I love being outdoors, spending time with Jess and the kids, usually at some sort of ballfield, and passionately following my Clemson Tigers!

David Eanes
2025 Vestry Slate
David Eanes has been a Church of Our Savior member since 2023. He is married to Marina and is the proud father of two children: Sawyer, age 7, and Vaselia, age 3. David works at Chase and volunteers with the Church of Our Savior’s Praise Team, assisting with audio-visual (AV) needs. He enjoys learning about history, art, and music in his free time. A big fan of Jeopardy!, David could happily watch it for hours every day.

Lisa Kirby
2025 Vestry Slate
I’m Lisa Kirby. Married to Peter and have two daughters, two sons-in-law, and five grandchildren. I have been at COOS for 5 years and enjoy attending and hosting fellowship groups. A few of my hobbies include sourdough baking, crochet, book club, pickleball, and “fair weather” fishing.

Pam Peffer
2025 Vestry Slate
I am honored and humbled to be considered for a vestry nomination.
I’m a Colorado girl who migrated to Tampa after I married Art in 1974. We moved to Jacksonville in 1983 for job opportunities. We have one son and three grandchildren: a nine-year-old ballerina, a five-year-old steam train engineer, and a two-year-old very strong-willed princess.
We became members of Church of Our Savior in September 2020. In 2019, we set out to find a new church home because we wanted “more”. We wanted a focus on the Holy Spirit and a congregation that lived and practiced the will of the Lord.
After an exhaustive Goldilocks-type mission of “too cold” and “too hot,” we found “just right” at the Church of Our Savior. There was no doubt in our minds that the Holy Spirit was present in the hearts of the congregants.
My first encounters with COOS members were as a volunteer for drive-in church in 2020 during COVID. Visiting with folks through partially opened windows was a delight and hearing the chorus of automobile “toot, toots” at appropriate moments.
I have ushered, baked cookies, decorated at Christmas, attended Bible study, and participated in a wonderful small group fellowship. I look forward to continually serving the Lord and our wonderful congregation. When not at church, I walk, do yoga, write short stories, and enjoy lunch outings with my girlfriends.
