Tis’ The Season – Advent Wreaths

Advent begins on Sunday, December 3.  Advent comes from the Latin word Adventus, meaning “the Coming”. It is a time of preparation for the coming of Christ in three ways: Remembering the Birth of Christ, anticipating the 2nd Coming of Christ, and the coming of ourselves to Christ.

Advent wreaths can be used as a devotional tool during this liturgical season, as we anticipate the celebration of Christ’s birth and his coming again. Please make your wreath to take home a devotional booklet during our Tis’ The Season event during Snacks
