HE IS RISEN
CELEBRATE THE RESURRECTION
EASTER
HOLY WEEK
Somber and reflective services for Maundy Thursday and Good Friday led the way to a glorious Easter Sunday celebrating Our Risen Lord!
PALM SUNDAY
was a beautiful day at Church of Our Savior! The service began with the Liturgy of the Palms on the patio. The children led the congregation into the sanctuary for worship. The service concluded with The Reading of the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
MAUNDY
service commemorated the Lord’s example of servant ministry, the institution of the Eucharist, the agony in the Garden of Gethsemane, and the betrayal leading to the crucifixion.
GOOD FRIDAY
is the most somber of all days focusing on Jesus and the meaning of His Cross. The faithful are reminded of the role which their own sin played in this suffering and agony, as Christ took all sin upon himself, in obedience to His Father’s will.
By the Cross, we are redeemed, set free from bondage to sin and death. The Cross is a sign of God’s never-ending love for us. It is a sign of life, in the midst of death.
EASTER
Alleluia was shouted by 213 on this Easter Sunday as the celebration began with sunrise over the Drive-In service and continued with a joy-filled Sanctuary at the 9am & 11am services. The kids had fun at Splash Kids, hunting eggs and playing on the grass. Fellowship and refreshments were enjoyed by all after the services.
