Crews continue to (sheet) Rock & Roll (scaffolding) to bring the new the new construction side of the building to life! The four electrical panels are in place and seem to tie-off miles of wires to power mechanics, lights, plugs, AV, and data. The sanctuary beam & raised ceiling is placed and provides a first glimpse of how the ceiling, millwork and stained glass will coordinate to beautify the sanctuary. The elevator crew has been diligent to ensure we have easy passage from downstairs to upstairs offices and ministry space.
On the remodel side, some paint and cabinetry are installed, highlighting the new youth and kid’s ministry spaces and additional storage in the kitchen. The opening and framed wall pockets are in place to install the cascading pocket doors which will allow passage between the fellowship hall and sanctuary and allow overflow worship space when needed.
Outside, the exterior stucco, paint and front entry doors showcase this project. With the civil engineering (parking, walks & drainage), irrigation and landscape plans mostly finalized, crews will soon begin work outside to create a welcoming entry and preserve ‘back-door’ fellowship space.
