With metal and shingle roofing complete, the cross was placed atop the cupola by Lighthouse Roofing (who said it was honor to do so). Window installation is underway and the mechanical and electrical rough-in is almost finished. The final door frames are placed and the sheetrock crew is hanging, taping & mudding. It’s all hands on deck to finish and begin work on the ceiling grid, lights and AC diffusers in preparation for the next big inspection – ceiling & coverup. We’ve debated and decided on a details for HVAC, carpet, paint, the awesome pocket doors between the fellowship hall and sanctuary and (the dreaded) attic access. Pastor David continues work on the stained glass and millwork for the altar area. It’s been a LONG ride, but beauty and function are coming together as we planned and prayed — This is the HOME STRETCH!
